I know two posts in one day is a little bit much but this is something that has had me very excited of late. The legendary American poet, musician and author that is Gill Scott-Heron released his comeback album "I'm New Here" on XL back in February 2010 (Amazingly his first studio album in sixteen years down to a number of interrupting factors including jail time and rehab). I'm New Here has now been given the full official remix treatment by the incredibly talented Jamie Smith aka Jamie XX and is out on the 21st of February.... However, if you are as desperate to hear this as i am, it is now available for streaming over on the Guardians web site HERE . This is most definitely worth a listen.
