Casino Times - Teif 1st Birthday/Dazed Digital mix

That sigh of Friday relief can be heard from the hilltops this morning and we are very much looking forward to an evening of shenanigans.

First up this evening we will be taking the musical reigns at what looks to be a seriously fun party taking place in a an old needle factory in East London. Can't say much more about it than that I'm afraid but if you know where its at we're on from 11:30 so get down the front and say wussup.

On to the main event. Once done in East London we will be making a speedy dash back down to South London to what is looking to be one of the parties of the year. Corsica Studio's Teif turns 1 year old today and as part of the Corsica month of celebrations (Corsica is also 10 years old this month) Teif will be throwing one hell of a party this evening.

Welcoming the likes of Omar S, Daniel Wang, The mighty Bicep boys, Brawther, Mano Le Tough and many many more it is going to be one unmissable house fest (full details on the flyer below and RA page here).

Also joining the line up tonight will be the superb and very pleasant Casino Times. Two of Oxfords finest, Casino Times have been stepping up their game in leaps and bounds recently with some very fine releases in the bag and on there way to a record store near you in the not to distant future.

To celebrate just how damn good they are (my words not theirs) and to send their props to the mighty Teif party, they have knocked up this delightful little musical splicing in association with Dazed Digital.  Get the mix on the player below as well as their interview with Dazed Digital here and for anyone heading down to Teif later get down nice and early so you don't miss anything and go home kicking yourself.

Safe weekend.

Xosar - Rush Hour mix + Move D - Live at N.O.G.

Two amazing mixes for you today to celebrate the coming of Thursday!

Xosar - Rush Hour Mix

A moody splicing of perfection on this first one from Rush Hour signed Xosar.  Don't really know much about her but from the mix below as well as her new release "Nite Jam" out on Rush Hour now and available here she will not be going away soon.
Quality in it's finest house and techno form.

Move D - @ N.O.G. 22nd July 2012

A live recording of one of Move's sets from earlier in the summer. And what a mix it is. It will have you scrawling for the track listing through out. One of the finest DJs currently on the scene this one is definitely worth a download.

Tuesday Mixtuals - Grey Matter + Lou Madhu + Treasure Fingers

Tuesday it is and we take one step closer to that wonderful weekend thing. And what an afternoon of cracking mixes we have lined up for you today.

First up-

Greymatter - September 2012 mix

Another superb mix from Wolf music's Greymatter to coincide with his latest 12" release on the label.

Along with some of the other Wolf fam Greymatter is possibly one of my favourite mix Djs of the moment so make sure you get on the download from the below player and head on over to Juno here to order your copy of the release.

Lou Madhu - "Just Another Filthy Dog" mix

A tasty selection of deep house and techno for your ears on this fresh splice from London based Lou Madhu. Seriously pumping grooves through out featuring Dusky, Jordan Peak and lot lots more. Head on over to her Soundcloud here for more treats and show some twitter love here @Lou_Madhu

Treasure Fingers - Hennessy & Sunshine mix

Something a touch less serious from Alanta's Ashley Jones aka Treasure Fingers to finish up on today. Known for his disco and funk sampled deep house music this mix tape put together a few months back will most certainly bring an element of the summer back to these increasingly cold days.

Stepping away from his usual track selections and tipping more towards the classics this one is jammed with funk and disco gems.
Pop it on and see how long you can sit still.

Pelski - House & Disco Fix #2

Monday!

We'd like to send out a huge thanks to Luke Solomon and James Welsh who tore the roof down at Friday nights Oonst party at Basing House, Shoreditch. A massive thanks to all the crowd as well. It was a thoroughly enjoyable session. The Next Oonst will be taking place at Basing House on the 9th October when we will be welcoming special guest Adam Port but more to come about that over the coming weeks

Today's treat is in the form of a fresh mix from blogger, DJ, party organiser and all round top man Pelski. We posted the first edition of the Pelski - House and Disco fix a few months back and anyone who got a listen then will most certainly be gagging to get the new one.

Anyone who knows Pelski's blog (which will be returning very soon after a few months down time) will know of this mans impeccable house and disco taste. Get the mix on the soundcloud player below and show the man some twitter love over here @PelskiBlog

Hannah Holland - Native City Mix #1

Fresh week fresh mixes.

Hope you all had safe weekends. Sorry to anyone who was coming down to see us at the Big Chill bar at Sunday evening's Brick Lane Festival. Due to crowd safety issues and a few bad attitudes the police closed down the venue early which was a shame as it looked like it was going to be a good one. Our next set will be at Oonst at Basing House alongside Luke Solomon and James Welsh this Friday but more new to come about that during the week.

Now on to today's Mix.

Hannah Holland - Native city MiniMix #1

Got this little treat to open up your early week ears straight from the steel plates of the very lovely Miss Hannah Holland. Caught her show on NTS on Friday afternoon and it certainly reminded me what a talented and versatile house and techno head she is. Although it says mini mix it's actually a good 30 odd minutes long and takes you on a whistle stop cruise through some cracking tracks.

The mix has been put together for the launch of Native City taking place at The Book Club on Leonard Street in Shoreditch on the 30th September. Also joining in with the musical proceedings on the evening will be Smokin' Jo, Deboa and JP. A serious Sunday session is bound to kick off so get on over to the FB event page here for full details.

Mix on the Soundcloud player below and track listing over on the Soundcloud page.

Franky Redente - Pod cast series 2012 #2

A standardly brilliant selection from Italian lover lover man Franky. Featuring a selection of his favourite currant jams as well as a shed load of his own work some of which will be getting a release very soon on Glasgow Underground. Get the mix on the player below and show Franky some love.

Dj Shark Bait - Yoghurt Warrior Mix Vol 3

Another classy mix from clothing label founder Dj Sharkbait. He's had one hell of a summer with appearances literally all over the shop. This one is packed with quality house, beats, bass and claps which will definitely keep your ears pricked throughout. Make sure you get over to the Yoghurt Warrior page as well to check out their latest and most freshest garms, there's some proper decent stuff up for purchase.

Another brief one this week i'm afraid as time is of the essence but we'll be back in the new week with some more noise for you.
