Martyn - Radio1 Essential Mix + Tom Flynn - GDD mix

Goooood Morning! It's Friday. Finally. And we cannot express how happy we are about it.

Coming in to day with two absolute gems for you. One to keep in line with tonight's Part 1 of the Trouble Vision Double weekender and the other because we love it as well.

Martyn - BBC - Essential Mix.

Tonight Trouble Vision will be welcoming the one and only Martyn. The Dutchman via DC will be bringing his distinct sounds to room one for the headline slot. Expect things to get serious as he takes us on a trip through everything that is Martyn. Detroit noise, bass'd up house and delightful techno.

I am also very happy to say i will be taking over after Martyn later this evening for the power hour shift. Going to be a fun one i can tell you that. To get you in the mood we thought we should post Martyn's BBC Radio 1 Essential mix that was aired back in March 2012. A true demonstration of what Martyn can do. Get it on the player below and for the Trouble Vision crew i very much look forward to seeing you tonight! Trouble Vision Part 1 Details can be found here and Trouble Vision Part 2 (Saturday) can be found here.

Pelski - House & Disco Fix #3

Happy Monday people. We're 5 days away from the Trouble Vision double weekend so we're going to try and bring you some fresh ear porn in the form of quality DJ mixes every day up until Friday. Sound good? Thought so.

Starting off our Monday recommendation with this little treat from blogger, DJ, man about town and all round top bloke Pelski.

Some of you may know Pelski from his You Can Call Me blog which rose to fame a few years back thanks to its excellent track recommendations, reviews and tune give aways. Some of you may also have noticed the blog space has been off line for short while. Well we're happy to hear news that the new site is almost ready and will be back very soon.

This tasty little selection mixed by the man himself on two turn wheels and a mixer certainly shows us why we need it back.

Pelski demonstrates his impeccable house music taste throughout on this one. A little more upbeat than his last mix from a few months back but as he puts it "this one is a remedy for the January blues". Well its done the trick for me this afternoon.

Get it on the Soundcloud player below (track listing over on the Soundcloud page) and keep checking here for Pelski's site re launch details and hit us up tomorrow for more noise.

Thursday Mixtuals - Lauer + Kitsch & Sync + J Rocc

Back again today. With the fine selection of mixes we have for you we couldn't really wait any longer.

We have 3 real treats for you to get your ears around so here they are in no particular order.

Lauer - Trouble Vision Podcast 002.

Stepping up for number 2 in the TV podcast series we have Lauer. This fella somehow finds the time to be one half of Tuff City Kids, one half of duo Arto Mwambe and still manages to pull off a solo project. Phillip Lauer definitely knows a thing or two about time management.

This is one fresh mix as well, featuring smooth house, disco edged rollers and cosmic undertones. Well worth a listen. Catch Lauer at part 2 of the Trouble Vision double weekender alongside Theo Parrish, Marcellus Pittman and Bicep on the 26th January at Corsica Studios. Details here.

Kitsch & Sync - January 2013 Podcast

Next up is another quality selection from the chaps over at Kitsch & Sync. The mix features some of the labels forthcoming releases as well as a shed load of their other current faves. Another one that needs to go straight on your iPod/generic Mp3 player.

Check out details for the next Kitsch & Sync party taking place on the 16th of February at Bar A Bar on Stoke Newington High street here.

J Rocc - Carhartt Radio - October 2011

And finally a wee treat from one of the legends. This one was put together for clothing label Carhartt back in October by the Beat Junkie don J Rocc himself as part of the Carhartt radio series. J Rocc has also been working closely with Carharrt over the past year with the brand sponsoring his and Madlib's European and Australian tours.

This is a mix that cannot be missed featuring rare as hell soul, Afro beat and funk cuts. One for the more discerning listener. Get in on the player below and track listing available over on the Soundcloud page.

Stefano Ritteri - Nice Up your Pray - Mixtape

Good Morning! A what a fine morning it is for anyone up in London town right now.

Thursday is upon us. That's one day from Friday and although we have this weekend as our last off for a while I'm in serious need of something to get me in the party mood. And what better way to do just that than with a fresh of the pasta press mix tape from one of our favorite Italians Stefano Ritteri.

I've literally just had this one drop on my desktop so haven't even had a chance to press play (yet) but from the track listing and the skills of the man behind the dials i can vouch that this will be a goody.

Featuring both tracks from Stefano's latest release "Nice up your Dance Ep" on Pets Recordings this selection will certainly get things rolling on this fine Thursday winter morn.

Get a listen on the Soundcloud below and head over to Stefano's Facebook page here for his upcoming show details and here to purchase the new Ep.
