DJ Sneaks #9 Pelski

Back in today with another DJ Sneaks mix and keeping in with the faithful festival kicks theme we are very happy to welcome Mr Pelski himself with this amazing mix put together in preparation for the upcoming Gottwood Festival.

If you have not heard of Pelski or read his prolific Pelski blog then you have most definitely been missing out. Pelski and his co writers have been consistently on top of their game for for a very long time now with their blog and party crew churning out some of the best content and freshest tune recommendations around. Their step up on to the party promo scene has also been just as successful with their most recent party collabs alongside the mighty Jackmode agency putting on some of the best line ups of the past year.

Pelski's Kicks......
Pelski aka Duncan Pelham has sent us over a quick snap of his festival faithfuls, and what a classic pair. Pelski's Air Max 90 Infrareds have most certainly done the rounds. I did cringe a little when i saw how these classic Air Max 90 colourways had been trodden through the dirt quite some bit, but then it is quite satisfying to know you have a sweet pair of foot ware that has already taken its bite of muddy field grime and chewed a fair piece of warehouse cud. These are the smooth kicks that you can wipe down with pride and take on to the next session without having to worry about weather or ground conditions and will keep you looking fresh as well as comfy throughout the party.

The Air Max 90s first released in 1990 (as the name probably gives away) are one of the most classic Nike releases ever and the Infrared is quite clearly one of the smoothest colourways.
It turns out Pelski is a bit of a Nike fan also being the proud owner of two pairs of the Terminator high tops but we will be saving those for another day.

This is what the man himself had to say about his faithful foot ware
....." These bad boys are the undisputed holy grail of Nike Kicks. They've been everywhere with me in the last few years - festivals, gigs, holidays, work - and are comfier than a pair of fluffed-up Wallice and Gromitslippers".

I'll vouch for that!

Pelski's Mix.....
Alongside ourselves and the rest of the Trouble Vision crew Pelski will also be heading down to Anglesey in Wales from the 30th June to the 3rd July for the second instalment of the mighty Gottwood festival. Gottwood, now in it's second year was quite possibly one of our favorite festivals of 2010 with this years looking to be even better.
Pelski will be joining forces once again with The Berlin based Jackmode agency hosting a stage and welcoming guests including The Round Table Knights, Matanza, Monkey Safari and of course Pelski himself.
Pelski has put together his "Gottwood's got soul" mix as a wee warm up to the onslaught of fun ahead and i think that if you haven't got a ticket yet this mix may just get you in the mood to get one sorted!
