Thought I'd crack up this sparkly little selection mixed by the king of edit Greg Wilson recorded live at the Queen of Hoxton a few months back.
Peoples love of disco edits does not seem to be slowing down these days with some of the most unexpected of DJs slipping in slowed down looped up disco hooks that seem to turn the dance floor in to a love filled reenactment of studio 54 at any moment.
Greg Wilson is a man who should receive a large cut of the credit for this in my eyes. A true pioneer of the edit and a DJ that has been earning his well deserved respect for a very long time. This seamless mix sampling pretty much every loop you would want to hear over 2 hours of tasteful dance floor grooving was recorded from a set at London party Big In Japan and I'm a little sad i didn't make it down to see him in action. This certainly makes up for it.
