Hear No Evil and Oonst launch Party @ XOYO London + Kenton Slash Demon Mix

The time has finaly come. Two Months ago after 4 years of our monthly party Superfilth we decided to close up shop and concentrate on new projects, and that new project is now ready for lift off.

Oonst our (Robin, Myself and Mr Arrowstothesky) new party launches tomorrow night (Friday 6th May 2011) at London's superb space XOYO. Oonst will be launching in room two with room one being in the highly trained hands of London based Music Consultancy Hear No Evil.

And what a line up we have to look forward to. Heading up room 1 Ninja Tunes signed Austrian keyboard wizkid Dorian Concept will be performing live, Showcasing his new material on Ninja Tune and Affine Records. Other room one heavyweights include Night Slugs signed Mosca, Hear no evil producers Si Begg and Throwing Snow... two producers taking things over in their respective electronic scenes right now and more importantly for this post as we have been sent a superb mix over by them.... Danish Duet Kenton Slash Demon.

Oonst in Room two alongside us and Arrowstothesky we welcome the exceptional sounds of DJ/ Producer Deadboy, a set from Trouble Vision head boy Mr Solid Gold as well as a smooth opening session from selector extraordinaire Guy Rolfe.

We also have a cheeky concessions list available so email your names over to guestlist@hearnoevil.tv for cheap entry. Drinks will be a meager £2 from 9 - 10:30 in the Oonst room for the early arrives so drop in and sup wussup.

Copenhagen based, Kenton Slash Demon's sound is both organic and futuristic and goes way beyond the confines of standard dance music. German music magazine De:Bug has describe it as "house music as Indian free jazz opera" which goes some way towards explaining why such varied DJs/producers as Claude Von Stroke, Hot Chip, Gold Panda and Brodinski count themselves as fans.

The mix below was put together as podcast number 44 in the Trace a Line website series. A seriously eclectic mix of high end dance and electronic music. Make sure you download it and get a listen in preparation foir tomorrow night.

Also check out the below video for the Kenton Slash Demon Track "Sun". One of my personal favorites from the duo. Smooth as fu*k summer house and clearly demonstrating another card to their eclectic production pack without compromising their more intellectual production sound. The video features iPhone footage of a one of Kenton Slash Demons Swedish shows.

And for those that can make it, see you tomorrow at XOYO.
