Got two big DJ Sneaks coming up next week from graphics and illustration man HeyGus and DJ duo This & That but today we're going to bring in the weekend with details of one of the freshest new parties to be hitting London town accompanied with an equally fresh mix.

Tief launches at Corsica studios this Saturday 24th September and will be bringing some outstanding line ups to our fine city over the coming months. Captained up by our fellow Trouble Vision resident Matt Hesseltime, Tief will be focusing on the deeper and more melodic end of the house spectrum. This Saturday's opener sees Dial co founder Laurence heading up the proceeds alongside Dutch new skooler Tom Trago, Melbourne's deep disco fiend Tornado Wallace, London's very own Jozif and a host of our favorite people of the moment including Greymatter, Bicep and Casino Times. Residents Matt Hesseltime, Thick As Thieves and John Malcolm Moore will also be on duty to keep things in check.

Tom Trago live mix

To get us through this weeks hump day we thought we'd post this superb DJ set by Dutch New Skooler Tom Trago recorded live at About:Blank at Get Deep, Berlin back in March.

The live recording itself is pretty gritty at points but it only adds to the charm with the mix combining elements of house, Detroit sounds, techno and most importantly disco in a smooth and party popping style.

Tom Trago @ Get Deep - 12.03.11 Berlin by tomtrago

Amsterdam based Tom has released an ongoing line of sure fire tunes, preliminarily on the superb Rush Hour imprint since 2006. We're big fans of Tom Trago's stuff with a couple of YouTube vids below exhibiting some of my personal favorites. The upbeat strings of "Use Me Again" making it one of my top tunes of the past 6 months (note that its slipped in as the penultimate track on the mix if you want to save it and all it's glory for your journey home peak time pon di ear bud player).

His second full length album "Iris" is out now on Rush Hour and available here. Get on over and cop yourself a hard copy.
